Core Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support in the London office, being the primary point of contact for all technology issues.
- Take full ownership of support desk tickets, managing issues end-to-end from initial request through to resolution, escalating only when necessary.
- Assist with the management of the global Windows and Microsoft 365 estate.
- Build new workstations and laptops using our automated pipeline, full training provided.
- Maintain global standards, recommending areas for improvement, and suggesting solutions.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 enterprise ecosystem, including SharePoint and Exchange administration.
- Solid experience across the Windows stack, including Active Directory configuration, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Good understanding of networking technologies.
- Ability to take an idea or concept and see it through to implementation, collaborating with other team members as required.
- Ability to understand and breakdown a problem, then document the resolution so everyone else can understand.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of PowerShell or Python is highly advantageous, but not essential; however, they will be required to develop this skill to be successful in this role.
- Security first mindset, ensuring security standards are maintained across the estate and not afraid to challenge the norm.
- Jira/Confluence administration.
- Experience with backup and restore products.
- Mac OSX or Linux knowledge.
