About the Role
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern software delivery practices. This role involves working closely with developers to design, automate, and optimise deployment workflows, ensuring a smooth and scalable development experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS infrastructure for development and production environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Automate system provisioning and image builds using Packer and Ansible.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Develop automation tools and scripts using Python and/or Golang.
- Deploy, manage, and scale containerised workloads using Kubernetes.
- Design and maintain Helm charts following best practices.
- Configure and manage ArgoCD applications, ApplicationSets, and custom manifests.
- Collaborate with development and other infrastructure teams to improve tooling and deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, deployment, and application issues across the stack.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing and operating AWS infrastructure in production.
- Strong understanding of networking.
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems administration.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Opensearch.
- Proven experience with Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
