Isabella's Homes is seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Practitioner to join our growing team as we support individuals transitioning from long‐term hospital care into independent living. About the Role

  • Complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals who present with behaviours that challenge
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
  • Train and coach staff teams in behavioural strategies and least‐restrictive practice
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma‐informed care
  • Provide clinical input into risk assessments, care plans, and crisis prevention strategies
  • Monitor progress and adapt interventions to ensure positive outcomes
  • Support referral assessments and contribute to funding and clinical justifications

Person Specification

Essential Experience

  • Working towards or holding a PBS qualification
  • Experience in forensic settings or community mental health

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • A recognised degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1)
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism, mental health needs, or learning disabilities
  • Strong understanding of PBS and person‐centred planning
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and across multiple sites
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

This role requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. Applicants must hold current UK professional registration where applicable.
