Isabella’s Homes is seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Practitioner to join our growing team as we support individuals transitioning from long‑term hospital care into independent living.

This is a rewarding opportunity to use your clinical skills, creativity, and compassion to shape high‑quality, person‑centred support for adults with complex needs.

About the Role

  • Complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals who present with behaviours that challenge
  • Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
  • Train and coach staff teams in behavioural strategies and least‑restrictive practice
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma‑informed care
  • Provide clinical input into risk assessments, care plans, and crisis prevention strategies
  • Monitor progress and adapt interventions to ensure positive outcomes
  • Support referral assessments and contribute to funding and clinical justifications

Person Specification

Essential Experience

  • Working towards or holding a PBS qualification
  • Experience in forensic settings or community mental health

Essential Qualifications & Skills

  • A recognised degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1)
  • Experience supporting individuals with autism, mental health needs, or learning disabilities
  • Strong understanding of PBS and person‑centred planning
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and across multiple sites
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Additional Information

This role requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.

Applicants must hold current UK professional registration where applicable.
