This is an exciting opportunity to apply your psychology background to directly impact the lives of vulnerable adults transitioning from long-term hospital care to independence.
You will:
- Complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals with behaviours that challenge
- Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
- Train and support staff in understanding and applying behavioural strategies
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma-informed, least-restrictive practice
- Provide clinical input to risk assessments, care plans, and crisis prevention strategies
- Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting interventions where necessary
- Support referral assessments and contribute to funding/clinical justifications

Person Specification
Experience:
- Working towards or holding a PBS qualification
- Experience in forensic settings or community mental health
Qualifications:
- A recognised degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1)
- Experience working with individuals with autism, mental health needs, or learning disabilities
- A strong understanding of PBS and person-centred planning
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and across multiple sites
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle (required)
