We are looking for finance volunteers to provide ongoing support to our Finance Team. These opportunities are ideal for individuals with a finance background who would like to stay active, use their skills, and make a valuable contribution. We ask volunteers to commit to at least one regular half-day session per week, although longer sessions are welcome. Volunteer sessions are available Monday to Friday:

  • AM: 9:00am - 12:00pm
  • PM: 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Ideally, we are seeking volunteers who can support us for a minimum of one full day per week. We currently require assistance across three days each week, giving volunteers flexibility to choose a schedule that works for them. Alternative time slots can be arranged.

What you’ll be doing

Under the leadership of a manager, you will be assisting with:

  • Purchase Ledger
  • Processing invoices
  • Inputting invoices and monitoring compliance on Sage and WAP (electronic invoice approval system)
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Project reconciliation
  • Gift Aid processing

Your Skills and Abilities

  • AAT Level 2 or Level 3 qualified
  • Currently studying finance, or have a background in finance
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Reliable, accurate, and detail-oriented

Am I eligible to volunteer?

We ask that our volunteers are:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Live within an easy commute to the area
  • Interested in volunteering for at least 6 months for at least 3 hours per week
