We have an opportunity for a passionate, creative and sales motivated individual to help run our charity shops located in Waltham Cross and Cheshunt.
As an Assistant Cluster Shop Manager, you’ll support the Cluster Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations across our unique charity shops.
You’ll work closely with our team of incredible volunteers and ensure our shops maintain high standards that reflect our values and mission.
Our retail teams cover the needs of their stores by working on a rota basis.
This is a 14-hour per week role, working every Sunday and one additional day during the week.
As such, the role requires weekend working and flexibility, with shifts scheduled across 2 days out of 7.
What you’ll be doing
- Assisting in driving sales and profit through excellent visual merchandising and customer service
- Creating eye-catching displays and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shop
- Supporting, training and motivating a team of volunteers
- Encouraging Gift Aid sign-ups from donors
- Support events held both in the shop (evenings) and the local community
Ideal candidates will have
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Interest in or experience with sustainable fashion
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Shows understanding, respect and consideration for others at all times
- Strong organisational skills with a proactive work ethic
- Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive attitude
- Proficiency in email, MS Office, and internet use
