An established manufacturing business specialising in technical textiles and advanced composite materials is looking for a mechanically minded engineer to support the continued development of its products, manufacturing processes and technical capability. This position could suit somene doing something similar however we but we are equally interested in an ambitious engineer with relevant experience who is ready to step up, take greater ownership and make the role their own. The opportunity This is a broad, hands-on position covering product engineering, manufacturing improvement, new equipment, technical problem-solving and project delivery. It is not a purely research and development role. You will spend time within the manufacturing plant, working alongside production teams, understanding how products are made and perform in practice, and turning technical ideas into practical and commercially viable solutions. A key part of the position will involve developing a detailed understanding of pipe rehabilitation liners and reinforced composite materials.
