A well-established engineering and technology organisation is looking to appoint a Facilities Engineer to support the day-to-day operation of a modern, high-spec facility in Edinburgh. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, and can adapt across a variety of building services and maintenance tasks. You’ll play a key part in maintaining the site’s infrastructure, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance, and ensuring facilities operate safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance across site services and equipment
  • Troubleshoot faults and resolve issues to minimise disruption
  • Support and oversee external contractors on-site

  • Assist with small projects, upgrades, and general site improvements
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and work orders
  • Support compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
