Our client is a growing electrical and renewables contractor delivering commercial installations, solar projects and major refit programmes across Scotland and the UK. They are now seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager with strong commercial oversight to manage the financial and contractual performance of a live project portfolio.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the commercial and contractual control of multiple electrical projects from tender award through to final account.
- Review contract terms and manage risk from outset
- Oversee project budgets, cost tracking and margin performance
- Manage variations, valuations and final accounts
- Review drawings and specifications to ensure scope alignment
- Prepare and assess quotations and subcontract packages
- Monitor cashflow, applications for payment and commercial reporting
- Work closely with site teams to ensure delivery aligns with programme and commercial targets
About You
- Background in electrical contracting, renewables or M&E
- Strong understanding of contracts, variations and cost control
- Comfortable managing project financials and protecting margin
- Commercially astute with a proactive approach to risk
- Able to challenge, negotiate and influence where required
