As a small, highly skilled company, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, high‑quality systems and responsive technical support to clients across research, medical, industrial, and high‑tech sectors.
We are now looking for a motivated and capable Cryogenics Engineer to join our team, preferably within a 30‑minute commute of our offices in Didcot. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands‑on with advanced cryogenic and gas detection technologies, and to play a key role in supporting our growing customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Install, commission, and service cryogenic control systems and fixed gas detection equipment supplied by IS4 Cryogenics Ltd.
- Conduct diagnostics, troubleshooting, and onsite repairs with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Carry out installations with routine maintenance visits across the UK, with occasional travel across Europe.
- Work closely with our engineering team to support system upgrades, testing, and bespoke customer solutions.
- Produce clear service reports and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Act as a knowledgeable, reliable representative of IS4 Cryogenics Ltd when interacting with customers.
- Experience in cryogenics, instrumentation, controls, or a related engineering field is an advantage but not essential.
- Able to install cabling and related equipment is a must.
- Confident with hands‑on technical work, fault‑finding, and system‑level thinking.
- Able to work independently while being part of a small, supportive team.
- Willing to travel as required and comfortable with customer‑facing work.
- Full UK driving licence required; training will be provided.
