On behalf of our manufacturing automation solutions providing client, we are recruiting for an Engineering Manager. This exciting opportunity will appeal to those individuals looking to apply their leadership skills in an environment that promotes work/life balance while providing career growth opportunities. Compensation range is $125-150K plus benefits, pension and bonuses.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strong leadership and vision to an engineering design team numbering in excess of 15 professionals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement advanced technologies and design methodologies.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and technology upgrades that optimize engineering workflows.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies that will advance engineered automation solutions for client applications.
  • Oversee all design engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Oversee engineering team hiring, onboarding, and performance management in collaboration with HR.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • College or university education and at least 5 years of automation industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
  • Experience with engineering and delivering projects worth up to several million dollars.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and improve processes where appropriate.
  • Demonstrated effective communication and staff development skills.
