We are looking for a friendly and fun Personal Assistant (PA) to support a disabled woman in the HU6 area of Hull. This woman requires 24‑hour care due to learning and mobility disabilities as well as epilepsy. The role will involve personal care, some cleaning to maintain a safe and clean environment, meal preparation and assistance with eating and drinking, and supporting the woman to access the community. Full duties will be discussed at interview.
The woman enjoys going to the park to feed the ducks and listening to music, and she is very social.
Responsibilities- Provide personal care for a disabled woman
- Assist with meal preparation, eating and drinking
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through basic cleaning tasks
- Support the woman in accessing community activities
- Provide companionship and respond to her social needs
- Previous experience as a PA or in a caring role is desirable but not essential
- Positive, caring, happy nature with ability to work independently and as part of a team
