We are seeking a talented Team PA to join our Family Support Team at one of our national offices. The Family team are one of the UK\’s leading family law teams, accredited by independent legal guides Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, with decades of experience dealing with a range of family issues. The Family team is ranked as Tier 1 and handle a number of interesting and challenging cases from high court judgements for high net worth and high profile clients to dealing with the financial aspects on relationship breakdown. Working across our National Family team, you’ll support fee-earners with administrative and non-billable tasks while delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Managing/overseeing the Court Portal on behalf of our national team
- Leading and assisting with new family client enquiries including taking regular new enquiry calls, triaging enquiries and co-ordinating the new enquiries process for the national team
- Opening and closing files, and managing all matter maintenance
- Managing fee-earner diaries, booking travel, preparing agendas, and minute-taking
- Assisting with the preparation of court documents (including those related to the divorce process) as well as forms and bundles
- Liaising with third parties such as counsels’ clerks, courts, and clients on behalf of fee-earners
- Attending internal meetings to represent the support team, take notes, and assist with business development activities
- Proven experience speaking to clients and delivering exceptional service
Qualifications
- A quick learner who embraces digital and flexible ways of working
- Experienced in administration (experience in family law is essential)
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities
- A proactive problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude
- Detail-oriented with excellent accuracy
