Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

You’ll provide quality legal advice to the firm’s clients by appropriate supervision and training and managing your own caseload from the outset. Your goal will be to secure interim payments where possible to facilitate rehabilitation, care, and accommodation before the claim concludes. Our team is dedicated to improving our clients’ quality of life. You’ll join the Birmingham Team, working alongside Partner Sara Burns, an experienced lawyer in complex clinical negligence cases.

The team specializes in cases against NHS Trusts, private practitioners, and GPs, including:

  • Cancer Claims
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Fatal Claims and Inquest work
  • GP Negligence
  • Hospital Negligence
  • Pregnancy and Gynaecology Injury
  • Surgery claims

Sara leads one of the top Medical Negligence teams in the country at IM. She is recognized as an award-winning lawyer with a reputation for excellent results and compassionate client care. This is an excellent opportunity to work with leading lawyers in the region!

About You

  • Ideally 5+ years’ experience in Medical Negligence
  • Enthusiasm for this legal area and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes under pressure
