Solicitor/Associate - Medical Negligence (5747)

About the Role

We are looking to add a talented Solicitor to our leading Medical Negligence team to be based in either our Bristol or Cambridge offices. This role is part of an experienced clinical negligence team that has handled cases across obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology and psychiatric care.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload, including litigated matters, with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes for clients.
• Assisting senior colleagues on high‑value and complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines.
• Delivering consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence with a strong background in claimant work.
• Proven experience managing your own caseload, including litigated claims.
• The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice.
• Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high‑value complex cases.
• The ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
