Irwin Mitchell is a national law firm with a local reach. We specialise in asbestos‑related and occupational disease claims, supporting mesothelioma patients and their families. We are looking for a Paralegal to join our team.
As a Paralegal, you’ll support Solicitors with their caseloads from the very beginning, giving you the chance to gain real, hands‑on experience in a law firm. You will work under the supervision of Partner David Johnston Keay, an APIL Accredited Occupational Disease Specialist.
Key Responsibilities- Take instructions from clients and assist with providing legal advice, including gathering evidence and supporting litigation where appropriate.
- Achieve time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
- Attend and contribute to team/practice area meetings, complying with directions and decisions to achieve team objectives.
- Keep up to date with changes in relevant law and practice, attending training events to maintain legal knowledge and best practice.
