As a Senior Resilience Manager, you will work directly with the Head of Risk, Resilience, and Internal Audit to lead and manage the firm’s resilience strategy. Your responsibilities include:

  • Implementing a robust resilience framework.
  • Overseeing incident response.
  • Ensuring business continuity aligns with strategic goals.

This role involves collaboration across all areas of Irwin Mitchell, including regulated sectors by the SRA and FCA. Availability outside of office hours may be required to support incident resolution.

Your key responsibilities will also include:

  • Leading development and management of the Resilience Framework and business continuity program.
  • Mapping critical services and resources, refining resilience controls and metrics.
  • Identifying, classifying, and remediating vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with risk appetites.
  • Testing critical services recovery plans to prevent impact breaches.
  • Developing and managing workarounds and playbooks repository.
  • Managing incident response processes, including out-of-hours support, and driving improvements.
  • Monitoring industry changes and mentoring team members.
  • Building relationships across the firm, especially with IT, to enhance disaster recovery strategies.
  • Representing Irwin Mitchell in external committees and advising on resilience requirements.

About You:

  • Experience leading resilience teams and embedding business continuity and incident response programs focused on protecting outcomes.
  • Collaborative personality that leads change and unites teams.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Qualification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCI) or equivalent (desirable).
