The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 £ per year.
The team represents clients in claims against NHS Trusts, general practitioners (GPs), private practitioners and other healthcare professionals to help those who have suffered serious injuries and fatalities. As a Paralegal, your role will involve but is not limited to:
- Taking instructions from clients and assisting with the giving of legal advice, including obtaining evidence and, where appropriate, assisting with litigation, to achieve appropriate resolutions for the clients.
- Achieving time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
- Supporting more senior case handlers generally in the running of the cases.
- Attending and contributing to team/practice area meetings and complying with directions/decisions made to ensure team objectives are achieved.
- Keeping up to date with changes in relevant law and practice and attending appropriate training events to ensure up to date legal knowledge and best practice.
About You:
- Previous Paralegal experience.
- The ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion and sensitivity when supporting clients through challenging situations.
- Highly organised and proactive, with excellent workload and prioritisation skills.
- A friendly, enthusiastic and can-do approach, with a positive can-do attitude.
- Strong relationship building skills with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
