Your Role and What You’ll Be Doing
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Solicitor (1–4 years PQE) to join our Serious Injury team in Manchester, working alongside Partner Richard Biggs on a high-quality and rewarding caseload. Serious personal injury cases can have a profound and life-changing impact. At Irwin Mitchell, our teams go beyond compensation claims—we work closely with clients and their families to ensure rehabilitation and wider needs are fully supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of serious injury matters
- Assist senior lawyers on complex, high-value claims (including brain, spinal cord, and amputation cases)
- Deliver clear, practical, and compassionate legal advice to clients
- Work collaboratively within a market-leading team
- Contribute to business development and team growth initiatives
- Take a proactive, organised approach to case management
About You
- 1–4 years PQE, ideally with experience in serious injury or personal injury work
- Strong commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication skills with empathy and compassion
