You'll be joining the Southern Real Estate team, working closely with Partner Ayesha Hasan, who has expertise in real estate investment, real estate finance and restructuring and insolvency. Ayesha has a broad range of experience in commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions and disposals (acting for both sellers and buyers), landlord and tenant work (acting for both landlords and tenants), real estate aspects of real estate finance (acting for both borrowers and lenders), insolvency (acting for administrators and receivers), restructuring and enforcing security (acting for lenders) and corporate support.
The successful candidate will assist on a number of real estate transactions which may vary from acquisitions and disposals to developments for our wellâestablished clients. You can also expect to manage your own smaller transactions that form as part of a larger multiâmatter case. You'll have regular contact with clients and intermediaries and will be expected to provide commercial solutions alongside your legal advice. You'll be able to demonstrate commitment to team objectives, ensuring these are achieved through a collaborative approach to team meetings and compliance with decisions which will impact the team.
Furthermore, you will draw upon your knowledge to participate in relevant business development initiatives and events to promote and develop both Real Estate and the Group.
We're looking for a Solicitor who is a selfâstarter and has the ability to understand clients' needs and provide sound legal advice. Our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Qualified lawyer with 2â7 years PQE.
- Demonstrable experience working as part of a team and using initiative to provide quality outcomes for clients.
- The ability to assist on multiâmatter transactions whilst maintaining attention to detail and a seamless service for clients.
- Demonstratable technical experience gained within Commercial Real Estate, real estate finance, real estate investments and developments.
