Overview
In this in-house Advocacy role, you will represent clients in Medical Negligence and Personal Injury matters, delivering high-quality advocacy and advisory support. You join a collaborative national team while maintaining flexible working arrangements and travel to court. You will handle a diverse caseload, contributing to drafting, advisory work, and courtroom proceedings. Responsibilities
- Provide advocacy in court and conferences for Medical Negligence and Personal Injury matters
- Perform drafting and advisory work for complex cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient client service
- Attend court hearings and client-related commitments with travel as required
- Contribute to a diverse, high-value caseload and discuss strategy with case handlers
- Work autonomously while aligning with national advocacy team practices
Key requirements
- Qualified Barrister or Solicitor with higher rights of audience accreditation
- Demonstrable experience in Medical Negligence and/or Personal Injury
- Strong track record handling complex multi-track, high-value cases
- Experience in advocacy for claimants or defendants
- Ability to draft, advise, and conduct conferences
- Strong communication and relationship-building with case handlers and clients
