Overview
In this role, you support the Private Client Group’s PA function, helping to lead a team across UK offices. You’ll coach, develop and manage PAs, drive process improvements and ensure consistent, high-quality service. You’ll partner with the Support Team Leader to implement new ways of working, onboarding, and performance management. The opportunity combines leadership growth with hands-on operational delivery in a client-focused setting. You will shape the team’s culture and contribute to impactful, cross-office operations.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day management of the Team PA function, including 1:1s, wellbeing, engagement, attendance, development and performance
- Provide guidance on service delivery, processes and day-to-day queries to PAs
- Coach and support people management, including coaching conversations and team development initiatives
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new colleagues
- Foster engagement, collaboration and an inclusive team culture
- Monitor performance, quality standards and service delivery measures
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support change initiatives
- Act as SME for Team PA processes within the Private Client Group and embed new ways of working
- Conduct quality assurance reviews and provide coaching and feedback
- Support operational projects to improve efficiency, consistency and client service
- Escalate risks, issues and service concerns as needed
- Provide complex administrative and legal support to senior stakeholders across the Private Client Group
- Assist with billing, financial administration and client correspondence
- Produce reports, management information and operational data
- Support wider business development, client service and professional support activities
Key requirements
- Experience in legal support, legal administration or professional services support
- Experience coordinating, mentoring or guiding team members
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality client-focused work
- Experience building relationships across multiple teams or locations
- Experience supporting operational processes and driving service or process improvements
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, make decisions and escalate appropriately
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems including document management and workflow tools
