As a Finance Systems Analyst, you will provide expert technical support for the organisation's Practice Management System, 3e. This role focuses on leveraging in-depth knowledge of the database, SQL queries, OData, API querying, and XML generation to support projects and assist various departments in data extraction and ingestion. It also ensures efficient, robust, and scalable financial processes through technical expertise and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial systems, providing technical guidance and support to the Data department, CIO, and Finance departments.
- Provide expertise in SQL queries to support data understanding and extraction/ingestion from financial systems.
- Utilise OData and API querying to integrate and retrieve data, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
- Create and manage XML generation templates for bulk data uploads, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with project teams on database structure and data extraction/ingestion methods.
- Develop and maintain PowerApps solutions to enhance system functionality.
- Implement and maintain data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for data models and processes.
- Identify and implement technical improvements for system performance.
- Manage printer templates for document generation using Crystal Reports and/or 3e Templates.
- Facilitate understanding of finance operational processes and data reporting requirements.
