We’re looking for two passionate Senior Learning & Development Specialists to play a key role in helping our people grow, develop and thrive. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract role aimed at designing and delivering meaningful learning experiences, partnering with leaders across the business and building capability at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging learning programmes, both in person and through digital platforms.
- Partner with senior leaders to support initiatives such as leadership bootcamps, team events, and management capability development.
- Work as part of cross‑functional squads to scope business needs and translate them into practical learning solutions.
- Create and maintain learning content, toolkits and resources within our learning systems, ensuring everything is current and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Support the design and delivery of a great onboarding experience for new starters.
- Track, evaluate and report on the effectiveness of learning programmes, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to organisation‑wide programmes and business change projects by delivering essential skills and knowledge training.
- Work with external suppliers of digital learning tools and technology.
- Stay ahead of trends and best practices in learning and development.
- Support the Senior L&D Manager and wider HR team with key priorities.
Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and delivering learning programmes across large or complex organisations.
- Experience working in a regulated environment (FCA or SRA experience ideal).
- Confidence using technology‑based learning platforms and digital facilitation tools.
- Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills at all levels.
- Experience conducting learning needs analysis and evaluating learning impact.
- Ability to thrive in a multi‑site, fast‑paced environment.
- Well‑organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working within a central HR or people function.
- CIPD Training Certificate (or equivalent) – desirable.
