Job Description:
Your Role and What You\’ll Be Doing
Working in our Southern Employment team offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in challenging and complex cases while learning from top professionals. Your role will involve advising on a full range of employment issues, including employment tribunal claims, redundancy, capability and misconduct procedures, employment documentation, and the employment aspects of corporate transactions. You will work with UK-based and international businesses, including medium, large, and listed companies, as well as clients in the education sector. You will gain extensive hands-on experience with support from senior team members to foster your development.
The team also hosts a popular program of events throughout the year. You will have opportunities to support these events, gain experience in presenting, and contribute to the team\’s business development efforts.
About You
- Experience advising Respondents on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters
- Enthusiasm for advising on diverse employment law issues and embracing new challenges
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- Interest in business development
- Experience in the education sector or with international clients is helpful but not essential
