The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 € per year.

You’ll join Irwin Mitchell’s nationally recognised Commercial Dispute Resolution team, led by Partner and National Head of Commercial Dispute Resolution, Katie Byrne. This role can be based in our Birmingham, Brighton or Gatwick offices and offers the opportunity to collaborate across a truly national practice.

Responsibilities

  • Advising on a broad range of commercial disputes, including domestic and cross‑border contract disputes
  • Acting on shareholder, partnership and director disputes
  • Handling professional negligence claims
  • Assisting with urgent and strategic dispute resolution work, including injunctive relief and reputation‑sensitive matters
  • Managing matters with an appropriate level of autonomy, with support and supervision from senior colleagues
  • Working directly with clients and supporting the development of long‑term client relationships
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver joined‑up advice

Qualifications

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE
  • Experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
  • Strong drafting, analytical and technical skills
  • A commercial, client‑focused mindset
  • Confidence working on complex matters as part of a collaborative team
  • The ability to take increasing ownership of matters as your experience grows
  • An interest in business development and building strong client relationships
