About the Role
You will work closely with Associates and Partners within our Public Law team, ensuring they receive high‑quality administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Supporting fee earners with the preparation of electronic and paper bundles
- Opening and closing files on internal systems and databases
- Responding to fee earner queries via email, phone and MS Teams
- Maintaining well‑organised files and ensuring databases are up to date
- Opening case files on relevant case‑management systems
- Processing invoices, cheques, BACS payments and billing activities
- Preparing digital files for audit purposes
- Administering digital storage platforms
- Managing inbound post, including printing and scanning
This is a busy, fast‑paced position, so you will need to be highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to work efficiently and accurately.
Building strong relationships with both colleagues and clients will be key to your success.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative experience (legal experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Professional and client‑focused approach
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
