The team is currently looking to add a talented Solicitor to our leading Medical Negligence team to be based in our Birmingham office. As the leading clinical and medical negligence law firm in the UK, we know how to make a positive difference to our client’s lives. Our experienced medical negligence solicitors take the time to understand what clients are going through, helping them get the answers and compensation they deserve. Our clinical negligence team has extensive experience in clinical negligence claims including but not limited to obstetric, neonatal, anaesthetic, neurosurgical, cardiac, oncology and psychiatric care.
Your Role and What You’ll Be Doing:
- You’ll be joining Luke Daniels, the Regional Head of the Medical Negligence team in Birmingham. Luke has specialised in medical negligence cases for 25 years and worked on the entire range of claims which arise from medical negligence issues.
- As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in supporting clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives.
- Managing your own caseload, including litigated matters, with a focus on delivering high‑quality outcomes for clients.
- Assisting senior colleagues on high-value and complex claims across a wide range of medical disciplines.
- Delivering consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and high‑quality service.
About You:
- We’re looking for someone who combines technical excellence with genuine empathy.
- 3‑5 years PQE in Clinical Negligence, with a strong background in Claimant work.
- Proven experience managing your own caseload, including litigated claims.
- The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice.
- Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high-value complex cases.
- The ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
