We're a national law firm with a local reach. Our legal experts are here for you. Whether it's personal or business, we understand that everyone's situation is different. But we're more than just a law firm – we're a team of people working together to help individuals and businesses navigate life's ups and downs. Working here you'll feel a part of our friendly and inclusive environment. We'll value you for who you are and what you bring. We support each other and push boundaries to achieve incredible things and make a real difference to our clients and communities.
Every year, thousands of people are injured in accidents or are taken seriously ill while abroad. We help clients to make a holiday compensation claim, or to claim if they were injured or suffered an illness while working abroad. Our lawyers have helped thousands to claim compensation following illness or accidents abroad in a wide range of circumstances, including road traffic accidents, food poisoning and gastric illness and accidents at sea.
We have the UK's largest and most successful team of lawyers specialising in making personal injury claims following incidents abroad, with several of our lawyers recognised internationally as leaders in the field. Our aim is to make the claims process as simple as possible for clients, handling cases with a compassionate approach that puts clients and their family's wellbeing first.
Our recent work includes:
- Seven-figure compensation for cyclist hit by uninsured hit-and-run driver in Spain
- Exoskeleton lets father walk again after holiday car accident; we helped get the therapy and adaptive equipment he needs to get the most out of life
- Holiday illness solicitors who have helped thousands of holidaymakers who have suffered serious illnesses at hotels across the globe and currently represent thousands of holidaymakers returning from Cape Verde with illness.
Your Role And What You'll Be Doing

You will work with Jatinder Paul, a Partner, in our International Serious Injury team, and your role will involve but is not limited to:
- Taking instructions from clients and assist with the giving of legal advice, including obtaining evidence and, where appropriate, assist with litigation, to achieve appropriate resolutions for the clients.
- Achieve time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
- Attend and contribute to team/practice area meetings and comply with directions/decisions made to ensure team objectives achieved.
- Working with others to progress group actions.
- Keep up to date with changes in relevant law and practice and attend appropriate training events to ensure up to date legal knowledge and best practice.
- Empathy and compassion to help guide our clients through challenging personal circumstances.
- A friendly, enthusiastic and can-do approach.
- Ideally, some previous Paralegal experience but this is not mandatory.
25 days holidays as standard plus bank holidays - You can 'buy' up to 35hrs of extra holiday too. Generous and flexible pension schemes. Volunteering days – Two days of volunteering every year for a cause of your choice (fully paid). Westfield Health membership, offering refunds on medical services alongside our Aviva Digital GP services. We also offer a wide range of well-being initiatives to encourage positive mental health both in and out of the workplace and to make sure you're fully supported. This includes our Flexible by Choice programme which gives our colleagues more choice over a hybrid way of working subject to role, team and client requirements.
We have been ranked in the Best Workplaces for Wellbeing for Large Organisations for 2024. Our responsible business programmes are fundamental to who we are and our purpose. We're committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace where our colleagues can flourish, and we have established a number of inclusion network groups across our business to support this aim. Our commitment to Social Responsibility, community investment activity and tackling climate change is a fundamental part of who we are. It's made up of four strands: Our People, Our Community, Our Environment and Our Pro Bono.
