We are looking for a Data Protection Advisor to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract, to help us ensure that personal data is handled safely, responsibly and in line with UK GDPR.
What You’ll Do:
- Be a critical point of contact for identifying, recording and investigating data breaches.
- Provide clear advice on DPIAs, supplier checks and data subject rights.
- Develop and maintain data protection policies and processes.
- Drive our UK GDPR compliance efforts.
- Promote good data protection practices across the business.
- Support the Senior Data Protection Manager with projects and daily work.
- Stay updated on legislation and share relevant ICO guidance.
About You
- Strong experience in data protection, especially breach investigation.
- Confidence improving and implementing processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build positive stakeholder relationships.
- Comfortable managing small projects and multiple tasks.
