We are currently looking to add a talented Associate to our leading Medical Negligence team to be based in our Birmingham office. As the leading clinical and medical negligence law firm in the UK, we know how to make a positive difference to our client’s lives. Our experienced medical negligence solicitors take the time to understand what clients are going through, helping them get the answers and compensation they deserve.

Responsibilities

  • Managing your own caseload, including litigated matters, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes for clients.
  • Assisting senior colleagues on high-value and complex claims on both liability and quantum.
  • Delivering consistently accurate and compassionate legal advice, ensuring clients feel supported and informed throughout their journey.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver a seamless and high-quality service.
  • Positively and actively contributing to business development.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence, with a background in claimant work; however, if you have a defendant background and are looking to move into claimant work, we invite you to apply also.
  • Proven experience managing your own caseload in a pro-active manner.
  • The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice.
  • Demonstrable experience assisting senior colleagues across high-value complex cases.
  • The ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for our clients.
