Your Role
and What You\’ll Be Doing
The National Family team are one of the UK\’s leading family law teams, accredited by independent legal guides Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, with decades of experience dealing with all family related legal matters.
Our team has expertise in different areas of Family Law including our Religious & Cultural Team of Excellence which the focus of this role. You will have the opportunity to work on a range of complex and interesting cases and play a key role in driving forward the team’s offering in this area, specifically in relation to Sharia law and the cross over with the family law in England & Wales.
You will be dealing with a range of matters on behalf of clients such as:
Given the nature of the work, it is essential you have well-rounded client service skills and are able to empathise with a wide range of clients in order to resolve the often sensitive and complicated practicalities that arise in family break-ups. We would also like you to be able to demonstrate ambition, energy and enthusiasm to help continue to build a successful Family law team at the top of the market.

About You
We believe this role would best suit an Associate solicitor (at c. 5 PQE or more) but are open to candidates of various levels if they can demonstrate the required level of knowledge in this area.
