Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

The team are known for their work in the Real Estate sector, specifically working on commercial and residential real estate disputes/property litigation, with a particular focus on landlord and tenant litigation and acts for investors, developers, retailers and corporate occupiers managing their national property portfolios. We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic solicitor to join our national team of 3 partners and 14 other fee earners. You will work closely with the team nationally and will be involved in a wide variety of cases, working on your own case load with support where required from senior colleagues, supervising the work of more junior colleagues, particularly on residential landlord and tenant matters, and assisting senior colleagues on their matters, gaining valuable experience from them.

You will also work, alongside other team members and colleagues in our national Restructuring and Insolvency team, acting for Law of Property Act Receivers, high street and private banks dealing with both insolvency-related property litigation and high value complex mortgage litigation. Given the nature of the role, you will be highly organised and be able to work pragmatically. You must be technically excellent with relevant market experience and will be required to support colleagues with the continued development and growth of this successful team. You’ll participate in relevant practice development initiatives, seek to get involved with business development opportunities and keep up to date with changes in relevant law and practice. You will be an exceptional team player with the ability to work collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for our clients and to develop other team members. About You

  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Qualified via traditional SRA route or CILEX, with 1 - 5 years PQE
  • The ability to manage caseloads whilst maintaining attention to detail and a seamless service
  • Demonstrable technical experience gained within Property Litigation, including commercial and residential disputes
  • A clear enthusiasm for this area of law and a commitment to securing the best outcomes for your clients while working under pressure
