Your Role and What You’ll Be Doing
As the leading medical negligence law firm in the UK, we know how to make a positive difference to our client’s lives. Our experienced medical negligence solicitors take the time to understand what clients are going through, helping them get the answers and compensation they deserve. Our medical negligence team has extensive experience in clinical negligence claims arising from all aspects of medical treatment including obstetrics, surgery, private and general practice treatment and psychiatric care. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days per week in our Manchester office. Your role will involve but is not limited to:
- Taking instructions from clients and assisting with the giving of legal advice, including obtaining evidence and, where appropriate, assist with litigation, to achieve appropriate resolutions for the clients.
- Obtaining key medical evidence, including medical records.
- Achieving time recording and fee income targets to ensure profitable working.
- Supporting case handlers generally in the running of the cases.
- Attending and contributing to team/practice area meetings and complying with directions/decisions made to ensure team objectives achieved.
- Keeping up to date with changes in relevant law and practice and attending appropriate training events to ensure up to date legal knowledge and best practice.
