An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Solicitor to join our Private Client Advisory team in Birmingham. This is a key role advising high-net-worth individuals and families on estate and succession planning, tax planning, and contributing to the continued growth of our private client offering across the Midlands. Our team is exceptionally busy, with a strong pipeline of high-quality work, offering you the chance to step straight into a varied and rewarding caseload from day one. Our top-tier Legal 500 Private Client team operates across multiple offices and forms part of a strong national practice, advising high-net-worth clients on all aspects of estate, tax, and succession planning. You will work closely with one of our expert Partners, Jessica Beddows, and benefit from significant firmwide support to help you further develop your practice.
About You
- Strong experience in advising on, implementing, and managing complex wills, lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, powers of attorney, and estate administration.
- STEP qualified or working towards the qualification would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong ability to collaborate with other teams and external professionals.
- Business development aptitude and passion for building client and referrer relationships.
- Drive to support the growth and development of the wider team.
- Understanding of the Midlands market would be favourable.
