Job Description
The role of the Maintenance Joiner will be pivotal to Irwin M&E's ongoing growth and success and the job role will include:
- General Joinery Work 1st and 2nd fix
- Responsive maintenance as and when required
- Itemise the work to be carried out in dwellings and premises
- Carry out works to high quality standards as per client specification
- Undertake any other duties deemed necessary by management to ensure the efficient running of the business
This is a full-time post, working 39 hours per week. Carrying out work according to Irwin M&E's policies and procedures. Company van and mobile phone is included.
Essential Criteria
- Relevant trade qualification NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Proven experience in a maintenance joinery role
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
- Use of PDA systems to log on/off jobs
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- UK Driving licence
Desirable Criteria
- Valid CSR Card
- CTC clearance
The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising and working with little supervision, and be willing to attend seminars and courses where required while working within Irwin M&E's guidelines.
