Responsibilities:

  • Playing an active role across multiple sites, helping teams work safely and confidently while keeping standards on track.
  • Getting out on the ground to spot risks, carry out checks and support improvements through practical, solutions focused safety actions.
  • Shaping clear, usable safety guidance, from method statements to safe systems of work, that genuinely support daily operations.
  • Bringing safety to life through training, toolbox talks and coaching, while helping manage key areas of compliance in a practical, proactive way.

Requirements:

  • Experience within the waste, recycling, manufacturing or a wider industrial sector with a practical, hands-on approach.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
  • Confidence engaging with teams across multiple sites and influencing at all levels.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum, additional qualifications beneficial.
