The business is seeking an individual who can provide operational support with daily safety activities and assist in driving continual strategic improvement across a small network of local sites. It's a role where you’ll work closely with experienced teams and it would suit someone already managing health and safety, or an advisor ready to take that next step.
Responsibilities:
- Playing an active role across multiple sites, helping teams work safely and confidently while keeping standards on track.
- Getting out on the ground to spot risks, carry out checks and support improvements through practical, solutions focused safety actions.
- Shaping clear, usable safety guidance, from method statements to safe systems of work, that genuinely support daily operations.
- Bringing safety to life through training, toolbox talks and coaching, while helping manage key areas of compliance in a practical, proactive way.
Requirements:
- Experience within the waste, recycling, manufacturing or a wider industrial sector with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Confidence engaging with teams across multiple sites and influencing at all levels.
- NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum, additional qualifications beneficial.
