If the answer to the above is yes, you may be interested in the Senior Environment Advisor role I am currently recruiting for. This role is with a leading Principal Contractor joining their existing yet growing team. The company currently turnover circa £4bn, and work on a range of major construction projects, across various sectors.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Environment Advisor will include:
- Ensuring environmental compliance across all allocated sites aligns with legislation, permits and company standards.
- Providing hands-on, site-based environmental and waste management support to project teams and supply chain.
- Carrying out site inspections, audits and incident investigations, driving improvements and corrective actions.
- Acting as the key environmental point of contact, supporting sustainability targets, training and continuous improvement across the region.
The successful Senior Environment Advisor requires:
- Demonstrable environmental and sustainability experience, ideally within construction, civils, or related sectors.
- Strong working knowledge of UK environmental legislation, compliance and waste management controls.
- Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental discipline and ideally hold a professional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM).
- A passion for excellence, and an ambition to grow and develop a career within the environmental space.
