Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a well-established industrial services contractor based in Sheffield. The business delivers insulation and specialist services to the construction industry across sites in the UK. This is a great chance for a Health and Safety Manager to join a growing business and have real impact.
Responsibilities for Health and Safety Manager will include:
- Lead health and safety across sites and projects, making sure policies and procedures are in place and up to date
- Visit sites, speak with managers and operatives, and give clear health and safety advice
- Manage the day to day running of the health and safety team
- Work closely with clients and other external parties
- Lead accident and near miss reviews and make sure they are reported properly
The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
- Experience in a similar health and safety role, ideally within construction or industrial services
- A NEBOSH General or equivalent
- Good organisation skills and the ability to manage different priorities
- Solid knowledge of health, safety and environmental rules and best practice
- Full UK driving licence
