Responsibilities for Health and Safety Manager will include:

  • Lead health and safety across sites and projects, making sure policies and procedures are in place and up to date
  • Visit sites, speak with managers and operatives, and give clear health and safety advice
  • Manage the day to day running of the health and safety team
  • Work closely with clients and other external parties
  • Lead accident and near miss reviews and make sure they are reported properly

The successful Health and Safety Manager will have:

  • Experience in a similar health and safety role, ideally within construction or industrial services
  • A NEBOSH General or equivalent
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to manage different priorities
  • Solid knowledge of health, safety and environmental rules and best practice
  • Full UK driving licence
