Are you ready to take your sustainability career to the next level, driving decarbonisation and long-term change? Irwin and Colton are delighted to announce that we have been engaged to recruit for a Senior Sustainability Advisor for a UK leading transport and logistics firm. This newly created role gives you the opportunity to aid in their decarbonisation strategy, mitigating their carbon output across their site.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Sustainability Advisor:
- Lead on the collection of scope 1, 2, and 3 data, tracking progress against carbon reduction targets to ensure compliance.
- Collate and compile data for annual accounts, and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Work alongside key stakeholders, external consultants and operational leaders to influence and embed best practice.
A Successful Senior Sustainability Advisor will have:
- A degree (BSc or MSc) in an environmental discipline with a membership to IEMA a desirable.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in energy and carbon management, ideally within the transport industry.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop and grow sustainability agenda.
