This position presents a unique opportunity to work with a leading logistics, warehousing and distribution company, making a significant impact on health and safety initiatives across their flagship site. What can you expect in this role? Manage site-wide HSEQ processes, including accident investigations, risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and audits, ensuring legal compliance and best practices. Promote a strong safety culture, challenging unsafe behaviours, overseeing contractor controls, and implementing H&S action plans. Liaise with regulatory bodies, handling RIDDOR reporting, enforcement activities, and employer liability claims. Develop and deliver HSEQ training, ensuring management and staff remain informed and compliant. Provide incident response support and regularly update policies to reflect changing regulations. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role, ideally within a logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment. NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum and IOSH membership (or working towards). Strong technical knowledge of health and safety legislation. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to health and safety.
