Are you experienced in health, safety, environmental, and quality assurance within the waste management industry? Do you have a passion for supporting sustainable practices and ensuring compliance across waste projects? Irwin and Colton are seeking a dedicated Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Advisor to support waste management and disposal operations in Dartford. This is a vital role for promoting safety and environmental excellence in a sector focused on waste processing and recycling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site inspections, safety audits, and environmental assessments aligned with waste management protocols.
- Support incident investigations related to waste operations and implement corrective actions.
- Promote health and safety awareness specific to waste processing facilities through toolbox talks and training.
- Assist in developing and maintaining SHEQ documentation, procedures, and compliance records for waste projects.
- Ensure waste management activities adhere to environmental legislation and best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, ideally with knowledge of waste industry standards.
- Experience in waste management, recycling, or related environmental sectors.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence compliance culture.
