Irwin and Colton, a specialist health and safety recruitment company, are recruiting for a leading property developer on behalf of their growing portfolio of projects across the East Midlands. The Health and Safety team is expanding to support this growth and will play a key part in maintaining high standards across all sites.
Requirements
- UK driver’s licence essential.
- Proven experience in Health and Safety within construction, house building or related industry.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a wide range of people.
- Drive and enthusiasm to promote a positive Health and Safety culture.
Responsibilities
- Engage across sites, implement health and safety policies and procedures, ensure compliance with legislation and develop contractors.
- Assist with training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigate incidents where required.
- Assist with the review and production of risk assessments and method statements and answer any health and safety related queries.
- Assist with audits and inspections of the site, identify areas for improvement and report on findings.
