Fire and Building Safety Manager Salary: circa 70,000 plus benefits Location: London Are you passionate about leading fire and building safety compliance in high-risk residential environments? We are seeking an experienced Fire and Building Safety Manager to oversee compliance with the building safety act and fire safety regulations across a major high-rise residential portfolio. This dynamic role involves ensuring robust safety management, stakeholder engagement, and compliance assurance for 15+ occupied high-risk buildings. Key Responsibilities of the Fire and Building Safety Manager will be: Lead the delivery and maintenance of Building Safety Cases, ensuring timely submission and completion of Gateway processes. Oversee the Golden Thread of Building Safety Information, establishing a secure digital source of truth for asset management. Manage fire safety measures, including risk assessments, external wall fire regulations, fire door checks, and emergency equipment inspections. Advise and support project teams on Building Safety Act obligations, change control, and compliance during design and construction phases. Liaise with regulators, emergency services, residents, and key stakeholders to promote safety culture and continuous improvement. Candidate Requirements for the Fire and Building Safety Manager will be: Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act, Fire Safety Order, and Regulations 2022.Proven experience of managing safety and fire safety in residential or complex building environments. Evidence of stakeholder leadership, audit expertise, and report-writing skills. Digital fluency with safety management platforms and compliance data analysis. Fire safety qualification (e.g., L4/L5 Fire Safety) and/or IFE affiliation; Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., 5+ years' experience across health & safety and/or fire safety, including residential context and corporate environments; If you are motivated to shape safety strategies at a leadership level and work within a forward-thinking organisation, this is an excellent opportunity.
