We're supporting a leading UK construction company to find an Environment and Sustainability Advisor, specialising in BREEAM delivery and environmental management across diverse projects. Based in Cardiff, this full-time position offers the chance to be at the forefront of sustainability in construction, working closely with project teams, clients, assessors, and statutory bodies.
The successful Environment and Sustainability Advisor will:
- Lead BREEAM delivery across multiple projects, from design through to post-construction, ensuring compliance and high-quality evidence submission.
- Support construction environmental management by overseeing CEMPs, site audits, and environmental legislation compliance.
- Contribute to ESG performance, assisting with data collection, monitoring, and reporting on sustainability KPIs.
- Provide advice and guidance to project teams on environmental standards, BREEAM requirements, and best practice.
- Maintain awareness of evolving standards and legislation to continuously improve project delivery and sustainability outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience delivering BREEAM projects within a construction or consultancy environment.
- A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong organisational skills, technical interpretation ability, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of construction environmental controls and site-based delivery processes.
