Are you passionate about maintaining high health and safety standards across a diverse residential property portfolio? We are seeking a proactive Health and Safety Officer to lead safety compliance across a varied portfolio of properties. This vital role involves working directly with site management teams to ensure properties are safe, compliant, and tailored to protect the wellbeing of residents and staff. This role is predominantly based from the Leicester office with occasional travel to site.
Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer will include:
- Work with the Property Managers to confirm site inspections, audits, and remedial works to maintain high safety standards are completed.
- Liaising with contractors and internal teams to effectively manage health and safety risks and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance across all properties, including licensing requirements and legal obligations.
- Managing fire safety procedures, conducting drills, and maintaining accurate records.
The successful Health and Safety Officer will have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
