We're supporting a well-established consultancy to recruit a Senior Health, Safety and Fire Consultant to join a growing team. This is a client-facing role, leading a diverse portfolio of risk, health and safety, and fire projects, including the design and implementation of robust management systems, inspections and audits across a varied client base.
The successful Senior Health, Safety and Fire Consultant will:
- Deliver high-quality technical consultancy across H&S and fire risk projects, ensuring best-in-class service standards
- Lead the design and implementation of complex H&S management systems, inspections and audit programmes
- Manage client relationships, respond to requests for work/proposals, and support effective project delivery to time and budget
- Produce high-quality reports and recommendations, ensuring alignment with current legislation, standards and best practice
- Support team collaboration and mentor junior consultants to ensure safe, compliant delivery on site
The successful Senior Health, Safety and Fire Consultant will have:
- A Level 6 health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or NCRQ)
- A recognised fire qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Fire or advanced fire risk assessor training); NAFRAR Tier 3 preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK H&S and fire legislation, with practical experience delivering within established management systems
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to obtain Enhanced DBS clearance
