We are recruiting for a confidential food manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead the HSE agenda at a large, complex manufacturing facility in Hull. This is a highly visible role, working closely with the site leadership team to drive compliance, engagement and operational excellence.
The successful Health and Safety Manager will:
- Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental strategies, policies and procedures.
- Partner with operational leaders to embed a proactive safety culture across all areas of the site.
- Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and inspections, ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented.
- Drive employee engagement and behavioural safety initiatives to improve safety performance and ownership at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and company standards.
